Blessed ones, Dr Monk has written two chapters in the new book you see above. These are: 6. Bedship and Sex-Play: Sex and Sensuality in Early Medieval England 10. Sensing Joy in Early Medieval England: Reconstructing Acts of Rejoicing in the Harley Psalter The book is available at Liverpool University Press. As you will see, when you follow the link, the book requires that you sell one of your horses (or children) in order to be able to afford it. So, out of the kindnest of my humble heart, I have been thinking that I might provide readers with my own take on Dr Monk's work. But I need to know which I should start with first: Joy or sex?
