Did Bede have a big head?

I pride myself, blessed readers, on always honouring my forbears.  And no greater forebear was there than the Venerable Bede (672-735), extraordinary scholar, theologian and historian, truly a multi-talented monk. 

So please avail yourself of a brand new, fascinating Open Access article by Joanna Story and Richard Bailey, who examine the recently rediscovered cast of the skull of Bede.  They re-evaluate (with great scholarly care) the evidence for the skull being that of Bede.
