Blessed ones,

The other Monk behind this website, namely Dr Chris Monk, has started, with my permission, a page about the great hidden treasure, Textus Roffensis.

Well, I can't hold that against him.

He begins with a piece called 'Origins and Beginnings'. It's not bad... for a twenty-first century heathen.

In as much as I love reading history books, part of me really wants to change this word to "herstory" occasionally. What did women in the past have ever done to deserve such wicked treatment from men who think they are better than everyone else? If you are going to observe closely, the countries which put women in high regard are always more progressive. Those who never let their women speak out or put them in a place where they won't be in control even to themselves are destined to stay in their third world condition. It's a sad world for their children and the next generation because they dumb down the mothers.
